Prof. Dr. Helena BELCHIOR ROCHA
Prof. Dr. Helena Belchior Rocha has a PhD in Social Work, is an Assistant professor at ISCTE- University Institute of Lisbon in the Department of Political Science and Public Policies and deputy director of the Transversal Skills Laboratory. Integrated researcher at CIES, Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology, linked to national and international research projects, namely 3 from Marie Curie Actions. Her publications and research interests include public and social policies, sustainability, wellbeing, ethics an education. She is an expert of UNESCO Policy Lab and of Dispute Resolution Lab at Complutense University Madrid, also member of Cost Action working groups.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cengiz SUNAY
After completing his undergraduate education at Istanbul University Faculty of Political Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cengiz Sunay worked in various public institutions for 4 years. He started his academic career at Kocaeli University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in early 2001. He completed his master’s degree at the same university and his doctorate at Marmara University Institute of Turciyat Studies. Sunay, who has written many articles and books on Turkish political life, is currently a faculty member at Yalova University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration.

Prof. Dr. Erdal ÖZMEN
Prof. Dr. Erdal Özmen is a professor of economics at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. He received his PhD from the University of Manchester. His recent research focuses on international macroeconomics, finance and monetary economics. He has published several articles in academic journals such as Economic Modelling, Economic Systems, Open Economies Review, Journal of Policy Modelling, Applied Economics and Applied Economics Letters.
Dr. Alfiya WRIGHT
Dr. Alfiya Wright is an energy economist with a doctorate in the Economics of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). She also holds MSc in International Business, Energy and Petroleum from the University of Aberdeen, UK. Her research interests lie in low carbon technologies, energy markets, and energy transition. Dr. Wright has a wide range of experience in engineering and management in oil & gas projects in the UK and Norway with major companies, including Siemens, Maersk, Statoil, and ConocoPhillips. She also worked as a lecturer and course coordinator at the University of Aberdeen, and as an economist at Pale Blue Dot Energy, a developer of the Acorn projects, one of the UK’s first carbon capture and storage and hydrogen projects. Currently Dr. Wright lives in Brisbane, Australia, and works for a global petrochemical company as a senior commercial analyst.
Dr. Ömer Faruk Akbal
Ömer F. Akbal is working as an Economist in the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Bilkent University; and a B.Sc. in Electrical-Electronics Engineering from METU. His current research interests are monetary economics, identification, and estimation of large scale macroeconometric models.

Prof. Dr. Etem KARAKAYA
Prof. Dr. Etem Karakaya has been working as a faculty member at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics since 2021. In 1992, Etem Karakaya completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, and then, as an assistant at Adnan Menderes University Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Economics, he completed his master’s degree at the University of Leicester in England and his doctorate in economics at Nottingham Trent University with a YÖK scholarship. He worked as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor at the same university. For 8 years, he gave lectures as a guest lecturer at Izmir University of Economics. For a period he was a visiting researcher at Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA. Between 2005-2008, he worked as a project manager and Turkey desk officer in the “climate change and energy” unit at the European Environment Agency, an EU institution headquartered in Copenhagen. While working at the European Environment Agency, he served several times as a European delegation to the European Commission, UNFCCC, OECD and other organizations. In addition, during this period and thereafter, he provided trainings on “Kyoto Protocol, global climate regime, carbon markets” to the delegation participating in Turkey’s climate negotiations and experts from relevant ministries and took an active role in decision-making processes. He has also worked on projects and consultancies for the EU, UNDP and relevant ministries in the field of climate change and energy. Prof. Dr. Etem Karakaya has been working on climate change, carbon markets and energy issues in the European Union and Turkey for almost 20 years. In recent years, he has been working on energy, material use and efficiency issues from a sustainability perspective and has prepared many articles and reports in these fields.
Prof. Dr. Oktay KOÇ
Prof. Dr. Oktay Koç graduated from the Faculty of Security Sciences (Police Academy) and completed his PhD in Management and Organization at Kocaeli University with a thesis on “Intellectual Leadership”. He started his academic career at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. After working at Kocaeli and Sinop Universities, he is currently working at the University of Health Sciences. She has worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Surrey in the UK and Vienna University of Business and Economics in Austria, and as an Erasmus + scholarship at the University of Mannheim in Germany. He has numerous national and international publications in macro and micro organizational theories. Recently, he has been focusing on “Administration 5.0, Digitalization of Administration and the Effects of Artificial Intelligence on Administration” and has been sharing as an invited speaker on various platforms.
